Taylor Swift, aka “The Music Industry,” has once again taken the world by storm.

At midnight on Oct. 21, Taylor Swift dropped her 10th studio album titled “Midnights.” The album consisted of 13 cohesive synth, bass boosted and dreamy pop tracks that will take you on a wild ride of emotions.

This album opens with the song “Lavender Haze” and, I must say, this may be one of Swift’s best album openers. This song is very similar to that of “Style” from Taylor’s album “1989.” It’s the type of song you want to hear while shopping at high-end retail.

The third track on this album titled “Anti-Hero” is the most lyrically raw song. This song was painful to listen to because a lot of people can relate to the lyrics. The song is about feeling like the whole world is against you and you’re in it alone. A lyric from the song that portrays this theme is, “It’s me. Hi. I’m the problem, it’s me. Everybody agrees.”

Lastly, the song “Karma” is an upbeat, breath of fresh air. The song’s playful and clever lyrics, and catchy melody is what makes this my favorite song off “Midnights.”

This album delivered the teenage angst vibes that I desperately wanted. It’s an album that you want to listen to while driving around with your friends, screaming at the top of your lungs with your head out the sunroof.

Now if you’re wondering, “Should I listen to ‘Midnights’?” My answer for you is absolutely! This album is a 10/10 in my book.
