Foreign students bring diversity

My name is Ade Oshikoya, I’m from London, England. I chose CBC because it was an opportunity for me to not only study and play soccer but to grow my faith and get closer to God. I believe that the events in my life led me to CBC and that God wanted me to be here. My main goal is to play professional soccer, however I am also passionate about Physical Therapy so when that career path is over, I would like to be a PT and help people through injuries and getting them back to doing what they love. I am Brian Moreno, I’m from La Victoria, Venezuela. I’m a senior at CBC. I’m very thankful that I go to school here because the situation in my country is really bad and I’m blessed I got offered a scholarship to come play college baseball, the whole school has been great to me since my first semester. My coaches have always been there for me for anything that I need, the school has been very supportive about anything and honestly I feel like if I went to a different school I probably wouldn’t be in this country right now because not a lot of schools are willing to help you as much as CBC has helped me. I want to finish school hopefully in December with my bachelors degree in Sport Management, find a job coaching baseball and to try to stay in the states. (Middle picture)

My name is Nyasha Dube, I’m from Hwange, Zimbabwe. I came to America in 2017 and I transferred from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma to CBC. What brought me here is the fact that I was given a better soccer scholarship even though I had some offers from other schools. My goal is to grow more in my faith and to graduate and then go explore the world.  (Right picture)
