Allison Seats is a freshman from Jacksonville and is majoring in kinesiology with hopes of becoming an occupational therapist.

“Seeing the amazing impact that my occupational/physical therapist has had on my life and the lives of people I’m involved with has made me want to become one in order to [impact] the lives of others,” says Seats.

Seats came to CBC to play softball, but said she she realized that she liked the Christian environment and how close the student body is. She’s involved on campus by playing on the softball team and it’s one of her favorite things to do. Seats says that softball has brought some of her closest friends and mentors throughout her life.

“I love softball because I grew up playing since I was four years old. It has taught me lessons on and off the field such as never giving up when things don’t go your way because softball is a game of failure,” says Seats.

Seats says she has had two large accomplishments she is proud of.

“As far as high school, I’d say graduating as an honor grad was pretty big and receiving a scholarship to play softball here [at CBC].”
