Chris Wright named new CBC head basketball coach

CBC’s athletic director Lyle Middleton said that “Coach Wright brings a lot of experience to CBC,” and adds that Wright “has been in this profession for 14 seasons, five of which have been in the NAIA and he’s been a winner.”

Wright says his, “Number one job as a head coach is to develop the young men that come under his leadership.” He says that the players are going learn how to be unselfish and give back to our communities.

Being the first person in his family to graduate with a college degree Wright says that he wants, “young men who not only want to succeed athletically, but to succeed academically.” He said that 90% of the players he has coached have graduated.
